  • Notification Data: We may use notifications to show scan progress, recovery status, completion alerts, and important app updates.

We do not access your files for any purpose other than file recovery and app functionality.


2. Permissions We Use and Why

Our App requires only the permissions necessary to provide file recovery features and related notifications.

Manage External Storage

Purpose: This permission is used to scan device storage, locate recoverable files, display file lists to the user, and restore selected files as requested by the user.

Permission used:

  • android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

How it is used:

  • To read files and folders on your device storage
  • To detect deleted or available media and documents for recovery
  • To allow the user to recover selected files
  • To organize and display file categories for easier recovery

Important note:

We do not use this permission to collect files for unauthorized purposes. We only access storage when needed for recovery functions and user-selected actions.

Post Notification

Purpose:

This permission is used to send notifications related to scan progress, recovery results, completion messages, and important app-related alerts.

Permission used:

android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS

How it is used:

  • To inform you when a file scan has started or completed
  • To notify you when recovery actions finish successfully
  • To show important app updates or service messages

We do not use notifications to share personal data with third parties.


3. Data Storage and Security

All file scanning and recovery operations are performed locally on your device whenever possible.

We do not upload your recovered files to our servers unless a future feature clearly states otherwise and requires your consent.

We take reasonable security measures to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to provide core functionality, deliver notifications, display ads, and improve performance. These services may collect or process limited technical information (such as device identifiers, advertising ID, push tokens, crash logs, and usage analytics) in accordance with their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob — displays ads; may use your Advertising ID. (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
  • Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) — usage analytics and crash reporting.
  • iZooto — delivers push notifications; may receive a device push token.
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — requests consent for personalized ads where required (e.g., in the EEA).

We do not sell your personal data. If we add or remove third-party services in the future, we will update this policy.


5. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not permanently store your recovered files on our servers.

Any file recovery data processed locally on your device remains under your control. If you uninstall the App, locally stored app data may be removed from your device, depending on your phone’s settings.

If we collect any diagnostic or crash-related information through third-party tools, that data will be retained according to the policies of those providers.


6. Cookies

The App itself does not directly use cookies. However, if third-party services are used, they may use cookies or similar technologies to improve service performance, analytics, or advertising.

You may manage such preferences through your device settings or the settings provided by the third-party service.

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
